About i5virus: The story so far...
Silic Financial, leading financial services provider, has been hit by a major breach of security. During the attack, massive amount of corportate data were stolen, including more than 46 million customer records from Silic's comsumer banking division.
The attack appears to have involved both some onsite infiltration that provided direct access to the company's systems and the use of a custom crafted virus, dubbed the "i5virus" by investigators. Initial leads indicate that a sophisticated crime syndicate is behind the attack and that it may have originated in Asia. Authorities have called upon you to head the global investigation.

How to Play i5virus
Welcome to your new life as an investigator in the high stakes world of international cyber crime. i5virus is an online game open to System i users. Your mission is to track down the criminals behind the attack against Silic Financial. To do this, you must uncover clues by visiting a series of websites and recovering bits of information.
Along the way you will get new instructions from this computer. You may also use this computer to track your progress through the game. When all of the clues are collected, you can enter into the prize drawing. Prizes include a Nintendo Wii game systems and iTunes gift cards.
In addition to tracking down cyber criminals (and possibly winning some great prizes), you will also increase your knowledge of security issues, including the use of PHP on System i, gaining information that you can use to better protect your system and your organization.

How to Play

Only one guess per person is allowed. Contest void where prohibited by law. Anyone can play, but eligibility to win a prize is limited to the System i community and companies who use the System i platform. You will be required to show proof of System i ownership when submitting your entry. Ownership and/or use of Bytware products in NOT a requirement for participation. Winners may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility with a liability release within seven (7) days of notification via e-mail from Bytware, Inc., of their winning entry, except where prohibited by law.

Entries
Entries must be submitted through the online entry form. All fields are required. You will be required to show proof of System i ownership. Only one entry per person is allowed. Entries will be time-stamped and subsequent entries by the same person after the first confirmed entry will be discarded. Bytware, Inc., is not responsible for lost entries.
Prizes
Entries that list all correct required items will be entered into a prize drawing. The Grand Prize winner will receive a Nintendo Wii. Two runners up will each receive a $100 iTunes Gift Card.
Contest End
i5virus is scheduled to end and entries
must be submitted no later than 5 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on Wednesday, December 12, 2007.

Disqualification
Persons found tampering with any aspect of the contest, including but not
limited to submitting multiple entries under different identities, will be
immediately disqualified.
Other Conditions
Substitution of prizes offered is not permitted. Non-cash prizes may not
be redeemed or exchanged for cash value, except as determined by Bytware,
Inc., at its sole discretion. If applicable, winner may receive an IRS Form
1099 for the retail value of the prize. All participants agree to be bound by
these Official Rules. All decisions of Bytware, Inc., with regard to contest
development, promotion, and winner are considered final and binding.

Winners List
Contest winners will be announced on the Bytware website on Wednesday, December 19, 2007,
and will also appear in the January/February 2007 issue of the Bytware News monthly
newsletter.
Release of Liability
All winners, by acceptance of prize, agree to release Bytware, Inc., from
any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries,
damages, losses, or workplace/job-related issues of any kind to persons or
property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or
use of the prize or while preparing for and/or participating in and/or traveling
to and/or from any prize-related activity, including searching for clues in
contest materials in print and online, or any typographical or other error in
the Official Rules or the offering and announcement of prizes.
